Martien digs through his photo collection

Much to my surprise, whilst digging through an unwieldy mass of snaps collected quite some time ago, I found a couple of very nice ones indeed:

Out my ol' front door

This is, more or less, the view from out my front door, looking more or less west-nor’west, with a nice Windlight sky and the draw distance set that side of unable to move. However, the old place has been sacrificed for rentals, and I now live in a more compact and stylish prefab home. Not that I’m knocking Architect Homewood’s WAVE house, but this one’s a bit more spacious and stylish.

Originally this photo was taken for my User, who was thinking grandiose thoughts about writing a book of musings about his Second Life. I should encourage him; I want to know where Precipitate Flood came from.

The Tower of Christmases Past

I’m not sure, but I think I took this before Windlight; the date says the 25th December, 2007. While it was nice to be out and about at Christmas (in my Forest Half-Dragon avatar and Apollo toga, I notice), I’m no longer sure if this remarkable tower is still there. I rather like that it’s not square, and in this light it just looks amazing.
