I am landlord
On Monday I popped into SL to see what was what, and to my surprise saw that the half-built manse on my east boundary had gone, replaced by two 512sqm shoeboxes.
I immediately panicked, seeing visions of ad farms or vulgar building. You see, the sections ran east-west instead of north-south, as they do now. This meant that one had a wonderful view, but not the other.
So I purchased them both, re-subdivided them, and considered my options.
For one, I felt a bit guilty of grabbing up all that land and keeping it away from the newcomer wanting a nice place in a nice sim to stay. Also, it wasn’t as if I really needed another 234 prims. Once I’d eyed that land with a view to moving my gallery there, but now…
I had a brainwave. Off I went to Hippo Technologies and bought a rental system. Off I went to ParkLife/Ace’s Spaces and bought two small houses.
Pontecorvo Luxury Rentals was born… but not heavily advertised. I took out Search ads, but that was it.
In just two days this weekend, they’re both occupied. And I went back to ParkLife/Ace’s and got some lights for them this morning.
I’ve no idea what I’ve just started for myself.
