The Chronicles of Anton pt. 2
“What on earth have you been doing to this poor armour?” Tun-Zeeus asked over his shoulder as he repaired my now very battered work clothes. “And how did you get this cuirass? Last I saw, you were wearing bandit’s gear!”
“I’ve been busy. That cuirass was given to me for my aid in Kvatch,” I replied, “And I’ve been running an errand for S’drassa.” I didn’t bother to mention the fact I’d nearly frozen to death getting some rare crystals, nor that I’d been in and out of Oblivion thrice.
Tun-Zeeus’ hammer paused, and he turned to look at me. “Wait a minute… There is no other Redguard called Anton in Cyrodiil, is there? Otherwise…” He trailed off, his eyes widening. “You?”
I sighed. “Yes, I’m this ‘Hero of Kvatch’ you’ve been hearing about.”

At this point, I should say a word about the alternate start mod I’m using.
Buggy.
Fast travel to major centres is thoroughly disabled. The mod uses the existing houses for sale, but the doors it adds don’t work properly and thus you are trespassing in your own home.
I may not bother continuing with Anton as he is now; instead I may attempt to figure out this mod and fix the damn thing.

The Chronicles of Anton pt. 1
The night was outside, and the rain. And.. a note. I stared at it, dreading that the Count may have finally decided that I was to be evicted. I clutched father’s sword tighter at the thought that it might be taken from me as I took the note back inside and read it.

Taking Stock: A Paranoia Mission
I was fascinated with Paranoia the RPG in the early 1990s, until I finally threw the disintegrating books away without having played a single game.

Fragments of "The Affair of the Prime Minister's Trousers"
This segment of Goonery was spawned by another member of alt.fan.goons attempting to write a show from scratch. Alas, what transpired was either topical, or an obvious pastiche. My little segment, however, was well received.

Enlightenment: A SubGenius Koan
The seeker arrived before the first wise man, and asked, “Is our Church of the SubGenius just an excuse to act silly?”
The wise man accepted the seeker’s hate offering, and replied, “Yes”.
The seeker left, but still felt uncertain, so he sought out another wise man, and asked, “Is our Church of the SubGenius just an excuse to act silly?”
The sage replied “No”, and the seeker continued on his quest. He seemed to need another opinion for some reason.
The third wise man took the alms, listened as the seeker asked, “Is our Church of the SubGenius just an excuse to act silly?” and promptly leapt into the startled seeker’s arms, screaming like a badly out of tune siren. Then the fellow let go, and turned away as if nothing had happened.
The seeker, understandably confused, sought out yet another sage. This one he found tending an onion bed.
He said no word and took no money. His only response to the question, “Is our Church of the SubGenius just an excuse to act silly?” was to silently and steadily pee down his pants leg.
At this point the seeker was enlightened.

Fairly generic action fic based on Marcus “Mexx” Dromowicz’s Quake maps. I actually got an appreciative email from one of his mates.
